Details: -Worked for Several Clients who
needed a Semantic layer and easy platform to Query and get reports to answer
several questions regarding their Business. So mainly set up roles, rights,
built Universes, and designed reports to provide better interaction and better
Data Visualization.
Responsibilities:
- Created & Modified Universes for
various functional areas of high level reports group usingDesigner.
- Customized LOVs in
Universes for quicker performance of reports. Created
Joins, Contexts, and Aliases for resolving Loops & Universe
Tuning and checked the Integrity of the Universes.
- Used SQL against the database
to check data retrieved.
- Changed the universe parameter
settings to optimize the performance of universe.
- According to the customer
information created complex report using Universe as main data provider.
- Exported the universes
to the Repository making resources available to the users.
- Created the reports using
Business Objects functionalities like Queries, Slice and Dice,
Drill Down, Custom sorts, Cross Tab, and Formulae's etc.
- Created reports according to
different requirements Such as Summary Charts etc Using Wizards andWeb
intelligence2.x.
- Exported the Reports to
the Broadcast Agent and used the Broadcast Agent server
to Schedule and Monitor the Reports.
- Used Supervisor, Info View to
manage Users etc.
- Various Programming tasks
included developing Reports using free hand PL-SQL,
and T-SQL procedures.
- Created reports using Crystal
Reports 9/10with Standard, Summary, Cross Tabs, SQL, Command
Objects, Selection Criteria, grouping, sub reports etc.
- Created various analytical
reports like Market Share, Trending, Rank reports from multiple data
providers. Interacted with the various users for reporting requirements.

problem resolution for various issues related to BO.
- Used the Aggregate Awareness
feature of Business Objects for the Optimization and Performance tuning of
Universes.
