SAP
BO developers play a variety of roles. Key responsibilities include performing
configuration and tests to all business objects. Administering and supervising
configuration of all business objects. Developing various use cases and
providing functional specifications for teams and individuals.
Other
responsibilities include requirements gathering, analysis, design, and
development of SAP BusinessObjects environment and reports; Integration with
the SAP BW backend components and other backend systems; and technical
responsibilities. Responsible for working directly with end user community to
design, develop, train, and support SAP BusinessObjects solutions that meet
business requirements.
- Documents all business objects data and Meta data and supervise security of all areas.
- Coordinate with various departments and configure all ETL extractors as per SAP requirement.
- Coordinate with various departments and develop multidimensional data models.
- Assist all SAP Business Objects investment and provide support to business intelligence team.
- Provide support to all SAP business objects and provide appropriate upgrade on environment.
- Design universe on SAP Business Intelligence and prepare ad hoc reports for same.
- Prepare reports as per organization requirement.
- Ensure compliance to all business objects and best practices.
- Analyze all information from end users and prepare reports with help of various softwares.
- Coordinate with solution architect and prepare appropriate architecture for business objects.
- Work with user community and develop various functional specifications for development.
- Evaluate all data from end users and prepare appropriate dashboards.
- Ability to analyze current custom solution and propose simplified solutions
- Actively researches for enhancements to the current solutions.
- Supporting and creating custom .Java BO SDK code and/or .Net BO SDK.
- Analyzing current customized BO integrated solution and proposes improvements.
- Upgrading current BOXI SDK code to BO 4.0.
